Megan Bowling (she/her) earned her Bachelor degree in Psychology from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. She completed her Master of the Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University.
During her Master's program, Megan was a Psychology Intern at an inpatient treatment facility that focuses on dual diagnosis and adults on the Schizophrenia spectrum. After graduating with honors, Megan continued to assist adults with dual diagnosis on an outpatient basis. Megan has worked with adolescents in a non public school setting, where she assisted youth with their educational and therapeutic needs. Similarly, Megan has worked with a local school district as an Educationally Related Intensive Counseling Services (ERICS) therapist. Through which, she continued to help children with their social and emotional needs in the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) system. Megan has been in the mental health field for more than 10 years. She continues to assist adolescents and adults in private practice. Specialties include dual diagnosis (when many things bother us that we have difficulty with), anxiety, depression, trauma, life changes, self-esteem, social and emotional evaluations for Individual Education Plans (IEP), ADHD, autism spectrum, school challenges, and family conflicts. Megan has worked with most ages, ethnicities, and cultural backgrounds.
In her personal life, Megan loves spending quality time with her family and dog. She likes to watch movies, hike, run, garden, and watch baseball. |
