Everyone Is Welcome Here

Everyone is Welcome Here banner
I'd like the opportunity to write and discuss wellness regularly.  Society is changing and people are thankfully paying more attention to their own mental health and the health of those around them.  If just one person learns something new from these publications then I feel strongly that it will be time well spent.

I'd love to hear from you. Feel free to let me know if there's a specific topic or question you would like answered.

Stay Well,

about your therapist Megan Bowling LMFT

Author

Megan Bowling (she/her) earned her Bachelor degree in Psychology from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. She completed her Master of the Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University.

During her Master's program, Megan was a Psychology Intern at an inpatient treatment facility that focuses on dual diagnosis and adults on the Schizophrenia spectrum.  After graduating with honors, Megan continued to assist adults with dual diagnosis on an outpatient basis.

Megan has  worked with adolescents in a non public school setting, where she assisted children with their educational and therapeutic needs. Similarly, Megan has worked with a local school district as an Educationally Related Intensive Counseling Services (ERICS) therapist.  Through which, she continued to help children with their social and emotional needs in the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) system.

In 2019, Megan started her own private practice where she continues to serve youth and adults on their individual goals.  Specialties include dual diagnosis (when many things bother us that we have difficulty with), anxiety, depression, trauma, life changes, self-esteem, social and emotional evaluations for Individual Education Plans (IEP), ADHD, autism spectrum, school challenges, and family conflicts. Megan has worked with many ages, ethnicities, and cultural backgrounds.

In her personal life, Megan loves spending quality time with loved ones and dog.  She likes to watch movies, hike, run, garden, and watch baseball.
